CABANA₅₇ TO GO. is a compact, lightweight sun canopy made of green 3 ounce taffeta nylon (total weight of about 11 ounce) with waterproof urethane coating. Assembled, it measures just under 5 by 7 feet in size (actually 4.75 by 6.75 feet), giving over 30 square feet of cool shade (MORE than enough for two, including lounge chairs). This is NOT a cheap flimsy blue plastic tarp like those used to cover lawnmowers and woodpiles. Unlike the popular semi-enclosed suntents which trap the heat, CABANA TO GO. is wide open on all side to allow the tropical breezes to gently caress you as you lounge in the shade.

A LARGER SIZE CABANA₆₈ TO GO. is now available, made of the same quality materials and measuring nearly 6 by 8 feet (actually 5.75 by 7.75 feet), giving nearly 45 square feet of shade - 50% more than the standard size).

Eight large brass grommets - one at each corner and one in the middle of each side (two in the middle of the long side for the 6 by 8 foot size) - make for quick and easy setup of all the various configurations of CABANA TO GO.

CABANA TO GO. is supported by four shock-cord tensioned 3/8 inch flexible high-compression fiberglass support wands. The wands measure 51 inches extended and 27 inches collapsed (the sections are joined by zinc-coated steel ferrules). One end of each wand is also reinforced with a zinc-coated steel ferrule to aid insertion into the sand, while the other end contains a handy S-hook adaptor for easy attachment to sun canopy grommets and tensioning lines. Optional short wands at 38 inches long are available for even more variety in configurations.

CABANA TO GO. is secured by eight foot yellow 3 mm 280 pound test lines (polyester core and polypropylene cover) which run from the S-hooks on top of the support wands to four 9 inch lightweight yellow plastic sand pegs. These lines are each adjusted and tensioned by handy easy-to-use yellow Taut-Tie® devices.

Three large S-hooks are included to secure CABANA TO GO. in the privacy configuration (4 for the 6 by 8 foot size).

The sand pegs, support wands, lines, S-hooks and Taut-Tie® adjusters are stored in two small colorful tangerine-orange rip-stop nylon bags with draw string closure. The entire CABANA TO GO is stored in a larger lagoon-blue rip-stop nylon bag with draw string closure and plenty of room left over for sandals, sun lotion, beach books and sunglasses.

The versatile design of CABANA TO GO. allows multiple choices of sun canopy configuration for maximum protection from the sun and for maximum privacy from nosy neighbors (instructions with illustrations of various configurations are included). CABANA TO GO. is assembled by those who know from experience the value of shade on those isolated beaches and the value of privacy from those camera-toting gawkers on those not-so-private beaches.

CABANA TO GO. is easily and quickly set up on the beach in minutes with no additional parts required. Just tie two knots in each line, assemble and enjoy the shade.

Easily carried in your beach bag, CABANA TO GO. can also be stowed in your luggage or in the airplane overhead bin for air travel - just try to do that with your beach umbrella at 42 inches in length and about 12 pounds in weight.
