We at Cabana To Go are proud of the quality our products and of the fact that our return rate is only about 2% overall.We realize that people return items for a variety of reasons - perhaps they merely changed their mind about the purchase (especially if their spouse discovered and disapproved of the purchase). Perhaps they just could not figure out how to tie that pareo or they could not understand the easy assembly instructions for the Cabana To Go or Privacy To Go or their butt was just a too wide for the Beachair or the Uman sandals showed the world that they had funny-looking toes. We have faced some of these problems ourselves (especially the spouse discovery thing) in the past and we understand these reasons for returning items. These people have our sympathy and deserve a full refund. Our policy in the past, was to give a full refund regardless of the reason for the return, regardless of the length of time between purchase and return and regardless of the condition of the returned items, with no questions asked. In most cases, this was a good policy. However, we have recently had a number of products returned in damaged and obviously misused condition, such as torn pareos, corroded metal fittings on fiberglass wands and sand-filled canopies and privacies with corroded brass fittings. In some cases, several months passed between the date of shipment of the order and the date of the return, giving these people time to use and abuse the items before returning them. Sadly, because of these people we must impose conditions, effective 1 August 2001, affecting ALL returns, as follows: Full refunds will be gladly issued if all items are returned within 30 days of purchase in usable and resalable condition. If material is torn or soiled or metal parts are corroded or damaged, we will refund only that portion of the purchase price that applies to the undamaged portion of the shipment which we can restock. By usable and resalable condition, we mean: pareos - folded and returned in the original condition, free of dirt, stains, tears and wrinkles Cabanas and Privacies - free of sand, dirt, stains and tears with no rust or corrosion Beachairs - free of sand, dirt, stains and tears with no signs of wide butt stretching of the stitches sandals - clean with good tread on the bottom and no signs of athlete's foot or jungle rot By within 30 days or less, we mean: Return package is postmarked within 30 days or less of the date of receipt of the items  For those who agree with our policy, we thank you for your understanding and your order.
