CHESAPEAKE BAY NUDE BEACHES
This page is dedicated to quiet, isolated sandy
beaches on the Chesapeake Bay where discreet nudity would be

BEACHES ACCESSIBLE MOSTLY BY BOAT
north side of mouth of Worton Creek in
upper bay 76º 10.5' W great for nude beachcombing during the
week - hardly any use weekdays - good shallow sandy
bottom southern end of island 76º 22' W southern tip - shallow sandy bottom -
private island, so keep off eastern side of Bay, just south of Worton
Beach 76º 11.5' W good sandy bottom, but somewhat rocky
beach - good nude beachcombing during week off shallow cove on east side of Poole's
Island 76º 16 W restricted access by
Aberdeen Proving Grounds because of danger of unexploded
bombs- very private - stay off
beach Goose
Pond south of western end of Chesapeake Bay
Bridge 76º 25' W be discreet - houses are nearby - the Bay
bridge is too far away for people in cars to see well - very
shallow approach southern shore, just before mouth of the
Bohemia River about 75º 55' W privacy and sandy beach reported - watch
nosey guy in red powerboat enter to west of Knight Island (actually
peninsula), then go north, then east about 75º 56' W good anchorage - nice sandy beaches -
also reached by auto just south of the "Hole in the Wall" at
the mouth of the Piankatank River about 76º 15.4'
W sandy bottom but shallow - anchor out and
dinghy in to the beach

ANCHORAGES
shallow cove on west side of Poole's
Island 76º 16 W good anchorage - restricted beach access
by Aberdeen Proving Grounds - very private western side of the river in Aberdeen
Proving Ground soft bottom reported - do NOT go ashore
(RESTRICTED AREA) western side of the park south of buoy 2
on Northeast River to Rocky Point private on weekdays - good sandy bottom -
know to locals as Nude Beach - friendly naturist boaters
willing to make raft-ups between Lloyd Creek and Ordinary
Point not good in westerly winds due to rough
water - great weekdays in Island Creek fisherman appear in the
morning to right of power lines near the
bridge behind Coast Guard Station generally OK - shallow to the left and
center, so keep to the RIGHT north and south shore from entrance to
the creek way back in the northern end up near the power lines about two miles from mouth of
Potomac off Corrotoman River east of Drum occasional trotliners just north of the mouth of the
Rappahannock at the mouth of Dymer Creek on Fleet's
Bay deep water right up to the "island" which
has largely eroded and which is under a few inches of water
at high tide
